JAMMU: Poorva Sainik Sewa Parishad (PSSP) on Friday expressed anguish over the statement of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Nirupam, saying it is not right to ask for proof of surgical strikes by the army on terror camps in PoK.
“While our nation salutes the army for its successful operations, statements made by Kejriwal and Sanjay Nirupam seeking proof of surgical strikes carried out by the special forces inside PoK on terrorist launch pads is ridiculous,” Parishad State President Brig B.S Sambyal told reporters here.
Such people, he said, should be ashamed of doubting our own Armed Forces to gain petty political mileage. They want to strengthen the denial syndrome of Pakistan, he said and condemned this malicious approach. “Bravado and operational capabilities of our Armed Forces and more so of Para Special Forces is undoubtedly appreciated by the entire world that’s why most of the troubled nations demand Indian Army Contingent for the United Nation Mission to sort out their problems.” He said adding that army has proved their operational expertise since 1947-48 when Kashmir was saved from Pakistan invaders and thereafter wars of 1965, 1971 and Kargil conflict are testimony of army’s operational capabilities.
Surgical strikes carried out by our Special Forces on 28/29 night in a precision manner is the result of thorough surveillance, detailed planning and precision secret execution which has been appreciated by one and all, he said. Person like Kejriwal who has no clue what so ever about the military operations has no right to ask proof of such special secret operations, he said. “We appeal to Election Commission of India to view it seriously and take appropriate action as such demands raised by these politicians speaks the bankruptcy of political will and are hell bend to destabilise the nation just for the sake of opposition to take on the democratically elected government,” he said. We show our full solidarity with the government whose political will led to the surgical strikes to keep the humanity safe from cruel hands of Terrorist, he concluded.
