KATRA: The Private Schools Association (PSA) unit Katra organised charity show for flood effected victims of Jammu province. In the show the students of various private schools of zone Katra participated. The charity show was organised with the aim to generate funds for the flood victims of village Saddal (Panchari), by the private schools of District Reasi and Udhampur. The proceedings of the show were conducted by Ajay Singh Kotwal whereas welcome address was presented by Ghansara Singh. In this charity show the amount donated by the donars was Rs.3.45 lakh. Dr. M.K Kumar Additional CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was the Chief Guest and it was presided by Ajay Gupta State Coordinator PSA J and K.
The students of the 21 private schools presented 25 colourful cultural items in the premises of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Katra.
The parents, teacher, students and local citizens of Katra witnessed this colourful programme based on National Integration and Bharat Swash Abhiyan. Besides this the prominent citizens who attended this noble function include Shiv Kumar Sharma President J and K Indian Free Style Wrestling Association, Mubarik Singh, Ravi Sharma, Tripta Devi. Principal G.H.S.S Katra, Sham Kesar, Sashi Bushan besides the Principal of Private School, B.L Chiragi, Vipan Kumar, Ladi Sharma, Jatinder Heera, Sharda Devi and Aditya Sadhotra.
The vote of thanks was presented by R.S Manhas Ex. Headmaster and chairman of the Private Schools Association of zone Katra.
