Provide adequate facilities to Amarnath Yatris: Shiv Sena

JAMMU: State Chief of Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery), Dimpy Kohli on Thursday appealed to State Government to make adequate arrangements for Amarnath Yatris as violence is erupting in Srinagar.
While addressing the party workers here, Kohli said that the State is passing through a critical phase and this critical situation warrants calling a meet of civil society by State Government so that normalcy can be restored in the State.
He said that this State was passing through a critical phase and it is the duty of both the Central and State Government to take drastic measures to curb this circle of violence.
Alleging total collapse of law and order with administration having lost control over the fast deteriorating situation, Kohli said that the anti-national had virtually taken control of the situation with repeated calls for extensions of violent protests which a matter of great concern. He said government has only one remedy to all these incidents to impose curfew which is not a permanent solution even they forget that imposing curfew is making whole State in a vulnerable position because people are not then allowed to go to hospitals, local business is getting effected, educational institutions are closed which is affecting the youth of the State immensely and to restore peace, normalcy is the need of the hour. This is now high time that Governor Rule must be imposed in J and K, he said. He said that two months long Amarnath Yatra is on and with these incident Amarnath Pilgrims are the worst sufferers and the Govt. attitude is step-motherly towards providing adequate facilities to the them. G.I Singh, Rajan Gupta, Sandeep Bhagat, Raj Singh, Narinder Dev Chunni and M.M Nagotra were also present.
