Patriotism is a feeling of love and respect for the country. Patriots are known for their selfless love for their country and pride in it. Every country in the world has a group of patriots, who are ready to do anything for the development of their country.
In the past, especially during the British rule, many people came forward to inculcate the feeling of patriotism inside their countrymen. There were many examples of patriots organizing meetings and giving speeches to inspire people around them. Similarly, the feeling of patriotism should be inculcated in children from the time they are young.
Many institutions organize functions and programs on 15 August and 26 January, in which patriotic songs are sung and during that time the feeling of patriotism surrounds the entire country. But is this real patriotism? No! Such an environment should always be there in general and not just around these special dates only then will these feelings sit in the heart of every citizen forever.
That country definitely becomes better, where the youth love their country and work towards improving the social condition. A true patriot is one who can contribute as much as he can in improving the condition of his country by working as hard as he can and also inspires people around him to do the same.
