Progress of development works reviewed at SAGY village Khalu

BHADARWAH: Assistant Commissioner Development Doda Phulail Singh today chaired a meeting to review the progress of development works in village Khalu under the Sansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) and redress public issues on the spot.
He asked the departments to formulate the Gram Panchayat Development Plan for the SAGY village to start the work at the earliest. The Social welfare department was asked to help and encourage the students to avail the scholarship schemes to achieve their goals in Education.
Jal Shakti department was directed to improve its working and ensure effective public service delivery.
Meanwhile, the ACD met with several local delegations, listened to their issues and resolved many of them on the spot.
While responding to the issues of Education, Jal Shakti, Health, Social welfare, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Forest, Sheep Husbandry and other departments, the ACD issued strict instructions to the concerned officers to furnish detailed information about implementation of respective schemes within two days to BDO office Bhaderwah.
The ACD Doda informed the locals that henceforth, on the last Saturday of every month, all concerned departments shall attend this village and BDO Bhaderwah shall depute a senior officer for chairing these periodic meetings for follow up of departmental plan of this SAGY village.
Among others who accompanied the ACD during the tour to Khalu village included BDO Bhaderwah, AEE JKPDCL, AEE Jal Shakti, LDO Animal Husbandry, TSO FCS&CA, HDO and other key officials and local representatives.
