KATRA: Education Department in collaboration with Department of Health held daylong programme on ‘Save the Girl Child’.
The programme was organised in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School Katra. Besides former Principals, academicians, senior citizens, and faculty members the function was attended by more than 1,000 students.
SDM Anil Kumar, who was Chief Guest on the occasion, said that such programmes should be held regularly for generating awareness among the masses. He impressed upon the local people and students to participate actively for the cause.
