JAMMU: An awareness programme on first aid, fire fighting and rescue techniques was organised at Soil Conservation Training School, Miran Sahib (J&K Forest Department) by the Regional Civil Defence and Disaster Management Control Centre, Jammu under the guidance of Additional Director General HG / Civil Defence & SDRF, J and K and close supervision of Kuldeep Khajuria, DySP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
Liftyara Alam, DFO / Principal Soil Conservation Training School, Miran Sahib (J and K Forest Department) welcomed Kuldeep Khajuria, Dy Controller Civil Defence and his team for organizing this awareness programme.
Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden and Ranjit Singh Post Warden deliberated at length about the first aid at the time of any emergency, fire fighting or at the time of any natural calamity.
At least 40/50 trainees and staff members attended the awareness programme. A live demonstration like rescue techniques, CPR and Knots etc. given by Civil Defence instructors.
Among others who were present include Parmjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Th. Ranjit Singh, Post Warden Div. No.3, Const. Rajinder Kumar, Civil Defence Instructor and Const. Parshotam Kumar, Civil Defence Instructor.
