Priya Sethi urges people to prioritize their health

JAMMU: Priya Sethi, National Executive Member BJP and former Minister, today inaugurated a free medical camp at S.D Sabha School, Rehari as part of the ongoing 10th Rishi Kashyap Swasthya Sewa Yatra in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The camp, organized by the National Medicos Organization in collaboration with Dr. Hedgewar Samriti Nyas, aims to provide free medical check-ups and distribute free medicines to the residents of the area.

During the event, Priya Sethi highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting health and well-being, especially in rural and underserved areas. She commended the dedication of medical professionals including Dr. Sajid Alam, Dr. Vikram Shetty, and Dr. Harsh Rai for rendering their valuable services during the camp.
The former Minister said that awareness is the only way to prevent the complications of different diseases but unfortunately even today there are a lot of people who run for magical cure which only delays the treatment ultimately leading to complications. She said that people need to come forward for their routine check-ups not only in the camps organized for the purpose but also in the health institutions across this Union Territory as the Modi government has ensured enhanced facilities in these institutions including those in the remote and far flung areas.
“The 10th Rishi Kashyap Swasthya Sewa Yatra is an exemplary initiative that brings healthcare services closer to the people, ensuring that everyone has access to necessary medical care. The efforts of doctors and volunteers are truly commendable,” said Priya Sethi.
She also lauded the efforts of Dr. Akshay former Corporator, Raman Sharma, Mandal President, and Suneet Raina, former Corporator, for their relentless hard work in making this medical camp a success. Their dedication and commitment ensured smooth operations and facilitated access to healthcare services for the local community. Dr Sajid Alam,Dr Vikram shetty,Dr Harsh rai and others were present.
The camp was supported by organizations like Seema Jaagran Manch (J&K), Sewa Bharti Gujarat, and Red Cross Society J&K, which played a pivotal role in making this event a significant step towards community health and welfare.
