JAMMU: Minister of State for Tourism, Priya Sethi, on Wednesday released Tourism Department’s exclusive calendar 2017 with theme ‘International Standard Golf Tourism Potential of Kashmir’.
This is an effort by the department to promote golf tourism potential of the State.
The calendar, decorated with photographs of picturesque golf course of Royal Spring Golf course (RSGC), Srinagar showcases its potential to organise national and international level tournaments.
The minister, while speaking on the occasion, said the State of Jammu Kashmir is a crafted bowl with all kinds of tourism products and services in its platter. She said the Department of Tourism will continue its promotion and publicity campaigns to woo tourists and the calendars serve an effective tool in this regard.
Secretary Tourism and Floriculture Farooq A Shah, MD Golf Development Authority, Ghalib Shah and other officials of Tourism Department were present on the occasion.
