Private schools deputation calls on CEO

UDHAMPUR: A deputation of District Body of Private Schools of Unit Udhampur met Chief Education Officer Udhampur Bishan Singh and apprised him about the problems being faced by the private institutions during conformation of annual result for the session of 2015-16. President of the Association R.K Mattoo demanded to speed up the process of confirmation of results for the session 2015 -16 as per circular no. 538 DSEJ of 2015 dated 3rd Oct 2015.
Ajay Gupta General Secretary of J and K Private Schools Association demanded that schools running without permission/ recognition or running additional classes illegally without providing healthy infrastructure to the students should be pointed out and be closed as these schools are bringing bad name to the private schools and education system.
Other than Chief Education Officer in the meeting present were DEPO J. R Tharmat and Dy. CEO Ram Kumar who listened patiently and decided that result of young souls should be not be delayed & it should be countersigned without any delay. Further it was made mandatory for institutions having deficiencies to give an affidavit that they will clear all hiccups in a time bound period.
Members of the association in appealed to the all the Private schools to cooperate the District Education Authorities to help in streamlining the whole educational process in the District. The prominent who accompanied the deputation include Sudha Sharma, Vishwa Mohan Sharma, Shakti Dubey, Hari Raj Prashar, Ram Parkash, Siddeshwar Sadotra and Ankush Verma.
