Primary Wing of JKPS Kunjwani celebrates National Youth Day

JAMMU: National Youth Day is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in India every year on 12th of January. It is celebrated to commemorate Swami Vivekananda, the maker of the modern India on his Birth Anniversary.
The Primary Wing of JK Public School, Kunjwani paid tributes to the noble soul on this day by organising a special assembly. The programme commenced with a speech by Parveen Kour highlighting the teachings and ideas of Swami Vivekananda. The students were exhorted to introspect themselves to wake up their eternal energy. They were motivated to contribute towards the nation’s progress as Swami Vivekananda did.
The students of Class II presented themselves on the stage as the youth icons, performing different roles.
The celebrations marked the importance of youth in nation’s progress.
