A senior leader of a political party, which espoused the cause of stone pelters by promising to have a rehabilitation policy for them apart from withdrawing criminal cases, became target of the group having medieval mindset while campaigning in his Assembly constituency. He has sought immediate suspension of the security staff for their failure to ensure his smooth movement.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for dubious politicians to apply different yardsticks when it comes to their person, as they have always remained in the forefront to condemn security forces for harshly tackling stone pelters, a new Avatar of terrorists in Kashmir?
