The alleged ‘impersonator’ seeking helicopters for Headmaster and teachers to reach school on time may remain on hunt of the education department or the police but the fact remains that punctuality has become victim in Jammu and Kashmir with most of employees reporting at their duties as per their pleasure. This might be the handiwork of a person who is irked by seeing the career of youngsters getting jeopardized but can the fact be argued vociferously by those responsible for enforcing discipline?
Is it a matter of pride or shame for a Head of the Department to justify irregularity in his or her institution instead of taking corrective measures to set right the rot, especially in government schools, results of which have always baffled parents?
