PRIDE OR SHAME
Congress has invited 15 political parties from various countries besides “like-minded political parties” for an international conference in Delhi to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his party, the BJP, or any of its allies are conspicuously missing in the invite list. On the contrary, Modi has constituted a panel to draw plans for commemorating Nehru’s 125th birth anniversary at the governmental level.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for ‘secular’ Congress to follow the footsteps of Jamia Masjid Imam in ignoring the country’s Prime Minister just to satiate its ‘hate-Modi’ aspirations?
