Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi have put Jammu and Kashmir Congress Committee in a quagmire after congratulating the Bhartiya Janata Party for a splendid win in Haryana and Maharashtra, saying people wanted change. Traditionally, Pradesh Congress leaders from President to Block President keep parroting what Gandhis speak out but in the instant case they find themselves in fix as the State is likely going to crucial polls later this year. BJP is emerging as a potent threat to Congress with intent of depriving it of king-making role in the State’s coalition culture.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for Pradesh Congress leaders to lack initiative and independent views; and remain infants who can’t even walk a step without holding hands of Gandhis in their 65th year of existence in Jammu and Kashmir?
