The most visited town of north India, Jammu, also known as the City of Temples, mocked the Prime Minister’s pet ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ due to accumulation of garbage dumps becoming more pronounced at various market places and localities. Huge garbage dumps, dilapidated roads, lack of health and hygiene besides poor civic amenities have become tale of the city that ought to have been most vibrant and clean in view of over 50,000 outsiders thronging 24X7.
Is it a matter of pride or shame even for the people of Jammu city to reconcile with garbage and filth all around?
