Even as Kashmiri separatists are claiming distribution of relief in flood-hit areas of the Valley, the sufferers are protesting in each habitation against the embezzlement of rations by the officials. Protests are gaining momentum and the vested interests are taking full advantage of the situation by exploiting the sentiment against the governments in Srinagar and New Delhi.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the administration not to act and ensure streamlining of the distribution and punishing those making money at the cost of two morsels of meals of their suffering brethren?
