In a mistaken belief of cutting ice on the issue of so-called Kashmir imbroglio, the BJP led NDA Government has given such a long rope to Pakistan that the rogue nation has mustered the courage to question return of hounded out state subjects back to their homes and hearths in the Valley. Referring to proposed composite townships in Kashmir, Islamabad has warned New Delhi against any attempt to establish dedicated townships or special zones to change the demographic makeup of the territory, saying it will be in violation of UN resolutions.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for BJP to go so soft towards Pakistan and its lackeys in Kashmir (both in mainstream and secessionist camps) that they get encouraged to challenge the writ of this great nation at a place, integral to Indian ethos and existence?
