Being in power, the PDP’s silence over the fresh flag row in Jammu and Kashmir is perhaps understandable but National Conference has plunged into the political Akhara with full steam, saying all that which is not perhaps necessary. In this pursuit, the party leadership has gone a step forward to that of the separatists and jingoistic elements, which have been responsible for undermining Indian symbols in Kashmir time and again.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the so-called mainstream parties to watch mutely Pakistani and ISIS flags and not to react the way they have gone active in the current flag row?
