Strange but true! Syed Ali Shah Geelani is feeling the chill of ISIS in his backyards, not because he hates them but because he knows what it means in a situation like Kashmir where they have seen security forces retreating back their steps because of human rights allegations while fighting the so-called Mujahids. It will be quite different while taking on the ISIS elements. Therefore, Geelani says that the hoisting of ISIS flags in the Valley will provide a handle to defame the ‘ongoing struggle in Kashmir’.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the so-called die-hard separatists and secessionists to feel panic when real anti-terror response begins in Kashmir, which they have made hell for the common peace-loving citizens?
