Chief Minister Mufti Sayed has been emphatic about achieving the objective of revoking AFSPA, saying he knows what to do, as he knows everything. Call it a provocation or over-confidence, Syed says, “Whatever we have to do, we will do that”.
However, BJP does not agree. Its small time leader says it is not the right time to scrap the Act and the party will not support its revocation.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the South Pole and North Pole combination to set up a so-called Coordination Committee for seeking central assistance and go beyond it when it comes to spilling venom against the national interest by keeping security related issues out of the ambit of this panel?
