JAMMU: Closing ceremony of 5th batch pre-induction training of J and K based battalions of CRPF was held today in a colorful manner. The closing ceremony was presided over by S.L.C Khup, DIGP Range HNR, CRPF in the presence of august gathering of Dr Shyam Gopal Gupta, Medical Officer, GC CRPF, Hiranagar and other station officers.
As per direction of SDG, J and K Zone, four weeks pre-induction training was conducted at ZTC, CRPF Nagrota for newly inducted personnel of the Jammu/Valley based battalions. Total 334 personnel participated in the training.
S.L.C Khup, DIGP Range HNR, CRPF addressed the trainees and also asked their suggestions for further improvement in the training.
Five trophies dedicated to Martyrs of CRPF were presented there are Shahid CT/GD Rampal Sharma (16 Bn CRPF) trophy for All Round Best Trainee, Shahid Ct/GD Mohd Murshi (16 Bn CRPF) trophy for Best Outdoor Trainee, Shahid CT/GD Bodh Raj (2 Bn CRPF) trophy for Best in B.O.A.C, Shahid CT/GD Ved Prakash (28 Bn CRPF) trophy for Best in Firing and Shahid HC/GD Abdul Qaum (88 Bn) trophy for best trainer.
There trophies were awarded to CT/GD Sunil Kumar of 117 BN CRPF , CT/GD Manas Ghosh of 187 BN CRPF, CT/GD Pravinder Yadav of 43 BN CRPF, CT/GD Bashir Ali Sheikh,of 76 BN CRPF and CT/GD Bachan Lal of ZTC respectively. After the closing ceremony, Chief Guest and trainees participated in Bada Khana. The programme was conducted by D.K Jha, Second-In-Commandant, CRPF, Nagrota, Jammu.
