Pradeep Dutta of Times Now wins prestigious 14th ENBA award for best spot reporting

JAMMU: Senior Editor Times Now, Pradeep Dutta, bagged the prestigious ENBA award in the best spot news reporting category.
His reportage on Pakistan terror tunnel was adjudged best during the 14th Edition of ENBA-2021 news broadcasting awards.
The ENBA award for News Broadcasting is the biggest award for the Indian News Channels. The 2021 awards were given at a glittering ceremony at the Hotel Imperial of New Delhi.
Union I&B Minister Anurag Thakur was the Chief Guest of the Award Ceremony which was attended by all the well known TV personalities of the country.
Times Network (Times Now & Times Now Navbharat) won several awards in different categories. It is pertinent to mention that Times Now continues to dominate broadcast journalism for the last 16 years.
Earlier this year, Pradeep Dutta, was conferred with state award by Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for his excellent and bold journalism.
“I am thankful to my editor-in-chief for encouraging me and giving me enough space to show case my ability and creativity while reporting on issues related to security of the country,” said Pradeep.
He hailed the award as a reward of complete team effort of his colleagues in Jammu bureau office and in Delhi, especially his video journalist, Amit Bhardwaj, who with his creative camera work enhances quality and value of even routine reportage.
This year Pradeep Dutta – a journalist from Jammu & Kashmir – became first and only turbaned scribe in the world to cover Russia-Ukraine war.
Pradeep-one of India’s best known broadcast journalists, with over 20 years of experience in covering counter insurgency and counter terror operations was in Ukraine for more than month covering various aspects of Russia-Ukraine war from ground zero.
