POWERGRID celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas by felicitating Kargil war Heroes

JAMMU: To commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas 2023, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a function was organized at its Regional office, Jammu. Executive Director Northern Region-II, Rajesh Kumar along with Senior officers and employees paid homage to Indian soldiers’ staunch bravery and sacrifices during the intense three-month-long war.
Six Kargil War Heroes who are currently giving their services in the security contract of POWERGRID were felicitated on this occasion.
These War heroes narrated their life time experiences during the war which were repeatedly applauded by all present in the function.
Rajesh Kumar reiterated that we as Indians shall always be indebted to Kargil war heroes for their sacrifices and service.
The program ended with a salute to the Kargil war Heroes by all the employees led by Rajesh Kumar.
