JAMMU: Powergrid Corporation of India Limited is observing Swachh Bharat Pakhwada from 1st to 16th May 2016 in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II. As a part of this Pakhwada, Powergrid carried out a cleanliness drive in collaboration with Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar. The cleanliness drive was carried out in the Gandhi Nagar Hospital which was led by the Executive Director POWERGRID Northern Region-II Anil Jain.
Employees of POWERGRID posted at Jammu and members of Shrishti Mahila Samiti participated in this drive. Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dy. Superintendent Government Hospital alongwith senior consultants and doctors, students of paramedical courses and Sanitary Inspector Nadeem alongwith his team gave valuable contribution during this drive.
Employees of both POWERGRID and Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar cleaned wards, emergency areas, terraces and parks during this cleanliness drive.
Earlier on his arrival, Anil Jain and senior officers of POWERGRID were welcomed by Dr. Deepak Kumar and his team. Anil Jain on this occasion handed over dustbins to the hospital for collection of waste and assured his full cooperation for making Gandhi Nagar Hospital a better hospital in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.
Deepak, Dy. Superintendent of the Hospital thanked POWERGRID for their support and initiative.
