Jammu: To carry out branch cutting of trees underneath of 66 KV Changran line, tightening of jumpers etc to avoid unnecessary tripping, shutdown of said line would be observed on 17th of May from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Kathua City, Krishna Colony, Changran, Janglote, AIR, PHE, Jakhbar, Barwal, Nagri, Palli, Barnoti, Budhi, Baktha, Toll Plaza Nagri, Jarmal Kokhyal, Airwan, Nanan, Saidpur and its adjoining areas shall remain affected.
Meanwhile, to carry out routine maintenance of 66 KV Transmission Line Hiranagar CKT-I&II, 66 KV Samba-Ghagwal Line and 66/11 KV Sub-Stations Hiranagar-I, Ghagwal, Raipura, Sherpur and Nichla to avoid unnecessary tripping, the shutdown of said lines/Sub-Stations would be observed on 17th of May from 7:00 to 11:00 AM.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Chadwal, Dinga Amb, Koota, Jandi, Dyala Chak, Hiranagar, Ramkot, Gurha Kalyal, Ghagwal, Randwal, PHE, PGCIL, Sherpur, Saida, Surara and adjoining areas shall remain affected.
Likewise, in order to carry out the routine maintenance of 33 KV Transmission Mahanpur Line, Mahanpur-Basholi Line, Hiranagar-Ramkot-Phinter Line and 33/11KV Sub-Stations Mahanpur, Basholi, Martha-Nagrota, Bhoond, Bani, Ramkot and Gurha Kalyal to avoid unnecessary tripping, the shutdown of said lines/Sub-Stations would be observed on 17th of May from 9:00 AM to 2:0 PM.
Areas to be affected due to shutdown are Mahanpur, Raipur, Saman Jandrota, Bashholi, Navodya, PHE, Bhoond, Sandar, Mashka, Bani-I&II, Bandhar, Martha Nagrota, Manwal, Ujh, PHE, Gurha Kalyal, Ludhera, Garh and its adjoining areas.
The shutdown is subject to fair weather condition.
