SRINAGAR: The officers of Poonch District in Jammu Division have voluntarily contributed Rs. 5.15 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation of flood affected people.
A cheque of the said amount has been presented to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah by the representatives of the officers here on Thursday.
The Chief Minister appreciated the philanthropic gesture of the officers of District Poonch for making the contribution voluntarily for the flood affected people.
