Puducherry: Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today extended her wishes to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on his birthday.
In her twitter message, she said, “It gives me immense pleasure to convey my greetings and heartiest wishes on the happy occasion of your birthday.”
“May God bless you with good health long life and success in your endeavours.”
“History has been crafted during your tenure for the daring and courageous steps you have taken to put integrity and honesty in public finance back on the rails,” she said in the official release posted on twitter.
The Lt Governor has left for Tiruvananthapuram to participate in the South Zone Chief Ministers meeting to be held today, under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, a Raj Nivas source said.
Chief Minister V Narayanasamy will also be taking part in the meet.
