Students of Polytechnic protests against TB Authorities at Kishtwar STATE TIMES NEWS
Kishtwar: National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) held a protest against authorities of Technical Board at Kishtwar on Monday.
Scores of polytechnic students led by NSUI State Secretary Mehran Anjum Mir assembled in fornt of Government Polytechnic College Kishtwar and raised slogans in favour of their demands and against higher authorities.
They were raising slogans against the Technical Broad Authorities for unfair marking of fifth semester students.
On the occasion Mehran said that the students who have been topper in earlier exams have been put under the category of failures.
Mehran alleged that last year when the board similarly announced poor result a fellow student Adnan who couldn’t bear the news and resorted to suicide. It later turned out that Adnan had scored good marks.
Mehran alleged that the present board officials and paper checkers have proven themselves murderers who forced our collogue Adnan to commit suicide.
Mehran demanded that their answer sheets should be provided and also warned that if re-checking is not done properly, according to expectation of the student, the students will choose the Adnan’s way, for that Technical Board will be responsible.
Those who spoke on the occasion include College President Karan Panjogtra, District General Secretary Syed Majid Shah, Naseer Ahmed Mir, Anil Bhagat, Adil Hussian, Pawan Kumar, Raqib Hussain, Aqib Hussain Mir, Naeem Bhat and others.
