SRINAGAR: Police seized 39 logs of timber in Kokernag area of the district. Acting on specific information, a police party of Police Station Kokernag headed by SHO Police Station Kokernag seized 39 logs of timber at village Dandipora. These logs were hidden under a culvert on Anantnag Kishtiwar Road. A case FIR number 109/2016 under section 379 RPC, 6 FA was registered in Police Station Kokernag and investigation was taken up.
