Police seeks people’s cooperation ahead of Ramzan

RAJOURI: As a part of Police Community Public Group (PCPG) meeting and in order to make friendly relation with public, Dy.SP Hqrs. Rajouri Abdul Hamid along with In-Charge Police Post City Rajouri SI Jhangir Ahmed held a public meeting at village Mankote . The meeting was attended by about 30 prominent villagers of Mankote including Sarpanchs, Panchs of the adjoining area.
In the meeting the participants projected various demands that in view of Holy Month of Ramzan there should be uninterrupted power supply, regular supply of drinking water and sufficient supply of ration at Govt. depots so that the people may not suffer. The Dy.SP Hqrs. Rajouri assured the participants that the problems/suggestions put forth by them would be taken up with higher authority and concerned department for their redressal. The people highly appreciated the efforts of Rajouri Police in reaching out every nook and corner of the District Rajouri to listen their problems
A similar meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Kandi Inspr. Mohd Younis at Police Station Kandi which was attended by prominent citizen of the Kandi, Beopar Mandal including Sarpanchs/Panchs of the adjoining area.
In the meeting the participants projected the various demands including deteriorated conditions of roads of the area, un-employment among youths of the area, on spot recruitment drive of police, installation of BSNL tower and bad sanitary condition of bazaar. The SHO Police Station Kandi assured the participants that the problems/suggestions put forth by them would be taken up with higher authority and concerned department for their redressal.
