Police restores Rs 49,900 to its owners

REASI: In a responsible act, police restored a purse and a shirt containing Rs 28,900 and Rs 21,000 respectively in it at Bahwan.
According to a report, one unclaimed purse containing cash Rs.28,900 was found by Constable Tarsem Lal of Police Station Bhawan during patrolling duty near Bathing Ghat at Bhawan. Under the guidance of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi, Sumir Kotwal, Addl. SP Katra, Munish Kumar Dy. SP Bhawan and Inspector Rajesh Sharma, SHO Police Station Bhawan, an announcement was flashed through JPCR Bhawan in this regard.
On this, a Yatri Ram Mane son of Yashwant Mane resident of Kolhapur Maharashtra appeared before Police Station Bhawan and reported about the missing of his purse.
Accordingly the purse containing cash Rs.28,900 was handed over to him by Inspector Rajesh Sharma, SHO Police Sttaion after clarification of his ownership.
Meanwhile, one unclaimed shirt containing cash of Rs.21,000 was found by Sgct Kuldeep Kumar No.454/RSI of Police Station Bhawan during patrolling duty at Bhawan and an announcement was flashed through JPCR Bhawan in this regard.
On this, a Yatri Sujeet Pal son of Ram Bhajan resident of 245 village Salempur Pataura, Salempur Kakori, Lucknow, UP appeared before Police Station Bhawan and police handed him shirt after clarification of his ownership.
