KATRA: In an act of responsibility, police on Tuesday handed over a bag containing cash to its owner at Katra.
As per the details, one unclaimed bag containing cash of Rs.4,000 was found by police party of Police Post Banganga during pat-rolling bathing Ghat Bang-anga and an announcement was flashed by SI Vikas Jasrotia, In-Charge Police Post Banganga through JPCR Katra in this regard.
On this, a Yatri namely Rukmani Devi wife of Lakhan Mahto Post Lodhma, Karra Sirka Lodhma Khunti, Jharkh-and-834004 appeared before Police Post Banganga and reported about the missing of her bag. Accordingly the bag along with cash was handed over to her by police after clarification of her ownership.
