SRINAGAR: Police recovered an abducted woman and arrested the accused involved in this crime.
Police received a written complaint from one person that his wife was kidnapped by one Noor Mohammad Sheikh, son of Ali Mohammad Sheikh, resident of Aabhama Pulwama.
On this information, Police Station Kokernag lodged a report and investigation was set into motion.
After strenuous efforts, police recovered the woman and arrested the accused from Pulwama. After completion of legal formalities the woman was handed over to her family members. A case FIR number 31/2017 under Section 363/ RPC was registered in Police Station Kokernag and investigation was taken up.
