UDHAMPUR: Police recovered 48 pouches of country made liquor from the possession of two persons on Sunday.
According to a report, on specific information provided by DSB In-charge Madan Lal, SHO Udhampur Mahesh Sharma laid Naka at General Bus Stand Udhampur and arrested two persons including a woman and recovered 48 pouches of country made liquor from their possession. Sources informed that on account of suspicious movement, police carried out the search of accused, who have boarded a Sudhmahadev bound bus and found 48 pouches of country made liquor in a bag. The accused have been identified as Rakesh Gupta son of Madan Lal and Pushpa Devi wife on Shankar Dass, both residents of Shudhmahadev. Police has registered a case under Excise Act.
