JAMMU: Police Public School Miran Sahib Jammu on Saturday organised Bal Mela in observance of Children Day i.e. birthday of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru First Prime Minister of India.
The Bal Mela was inaugurated by K. Vijaya Chairperson Management Committee Police Public Schools J and K. Various food stalls were established by the teachers on no profit no loss basis. The children were also seen dancing on the DJ music. They also participated in the games organized in the school premises. The children enjoyed in the Mela and were very jubilant on the organisation of this event.
Seema Agarwal wife of Navin Agarwal, DGP Sports J and K, Sundri Yadav wife of Rajesh Yadav, IGP Jammu Zone, Ruksana Beig wife of Shakeel Ahmed Beig DIG Jammu, Parshotam Sharma Deputy Director Prosecution Range Police Headquarters Jammu, Kiran Raina Principal Police Public School Miran Sahib, Mahika Yadav and school staff members were present on the occasion.
Shakeel Ahmed Beig, Administrative Officer Police Public School Miran Sahib said that this is the first ever Mela organized by the Police Public School Miran Sahib and this event will now be a annual feature of the school. He also thanked the Chairperson Police Public Schools, other dignitaries for sparing their valuable time in participating and gracing the occasion and specially thanked K. Vijaya Chairperson Police Public School for arranging DJ system personally for the entertainment of the children. Beig also thanked the principal and other organising staff members their exceptionally good work done by them.
