BHADARWAH: Continuing with its Civic Action programme and in an effort to preserve, promote and to encourage the local culture and dialect, Doda Police on Tuesday provided instruments to a Sirazi Musical Club.
SSP Doda Zahid Naseem Manhas distributed the musical instruments to a famous folk Sirazi Musical Club Doda under Civic Action Programme-2016. Manhas addressed the musical constituents regarding concept and idea of Civic Action Programme and efforts of J&K Police to bridge the gap between police and public and providing the multiple avenues to the young generation for skill development, honing and also giving opportunities for competing at various levels.
SSP also stressed upon the members of club to promote the traditional cultural activities in the area to strengthen the police public relations and maintaining of communal harmony.
The Sirazi appreciated the role of District Police for promoting unique Sirazi culture by providing them the musical instruments.
