RAMBAN: In order to keep the troops in high degree of alertness and ensure quick retaliation in responding any unforeseen situation, District Police Ramban on Monday organised a route march at District Sub- Division level.
The march was started from District Police Lines Ramban and concluded at Baghlihar Dam Chanderkot. SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar, flagged off the march. More than 250 jawans and officers participated in the march in a smart turnout and fully equipped, tugging its way to NHW covering a distance of 12 Kms via Main Market Ramban, Cafeteria Morh, Mehad, Karol, Boom and Chanderkot.
On the conclusion of road march at BHEP Dam Chanderkot, Randeep Kumar addressed the jawans and officers and said that such activities robust health level of the cops and provides them an opportunity to move out in open air and overcome stressed life. He said that besides boosting the morale of the force, it develops highest standards of public conduct, strengthening the people’s confidence.
Besides other officers, Arun Gupta, Addl. Supdt. of Police, Ramban, Mohd Rafiq, Dy. SP Hqrs Ramban, Joginder Singh Dy. SP DAR and SHOs PS Ramban, Chanderkot and Batote also participated in the said programme alongwith other officers.
