RAMBAN: Under the guidelines of Police Headquarters Jammu, a debate competition was organised by District Police Ramban under civic action programme at Higher Secondary School Batote . The debate was attended by Sub Judge Batote Pawan Sharma , Addl SP Ramban Mushtaq Choudhry, DySP Hqr Rafiq Choudhry, Principal Higher Secondary School Batote M.L Sharma and others.
A total of 12 students participated in the debate including girl students who extensively spoke on the topic women empowerment and role of police. The first prize was bagged by Master Mohd Saddam of class 8 of St. George Convent School Batote, second prize was won by Ridham Talwar of Higher Secondary School Batote and the third prize went to Vanadana Thakur of Govt Higher Secondary School Batote. The prizes included a trophy and cash prize of Rs 3,000 , 2, 000 and 1,000 for first, second and third places and also certificate of participation along with English dictionaries was also distributed to all the participants.
