MIRAN SAHIB: By carrying forward the rehabilitation drive, Miran Shaib Police maintained and cleared the Shamshaan Ghat in Ward No. 4, Simble Camp, Miran Shaib Jammu in the series of initiatives launched by Jammu Police. The road leading to the Shamshan Ghat was also got maintained and worth to walk besides its delisting was also done. The people of the area were very appreciative of the role of police in extending a helping hand to the general public in making the things easier. The overgrowth grass and trees were also cleared in the adjoining areas.
Similarly, a drive in flood affected areas launched by police , with a pledge to extend solace to the residents of flood affected areas especially to make the educational institutions properly functional, maintained educational institutes at Saidgarh, Shibu Chak in Bishnah area and Kullian in Miran Sahib areas for the benefit of school children. Blankets were also distributed among flood affected populace in these areas as well. The overgrowth grass and trees were also cleared in the adjoining areas. The road and surrounding area of Shamshaan Ghat in Kullian was also maintained to make it worth walking which was badly affected during heavy rains.
The people were also made aware about the precautions and maintenance of sanitary and hygienic conditions in the vicinity for ensuring healthy and disease free environment in order to avoid chances of outbreak of any disease.
The people were overwhelmed with the support of J and K Police.
