Police Band performance, police march held in Gandhi Nagar South Zone on eve of Deepawali

JAMMU: In an effort to ensure a peaceful and secure Diwali celebration, the Jammu Police conducted a comprehensive area domination drive across Gandhi Nagar on the eve of the festival. The operation aimed to deter criminal activities, maintain law and order, and instill a sense of security among the residents. Police personnel were deployed in large numbers to conduct extensive patrolling in residential areas, commercial hubs, and public spaces and multiple checkpoints were established to screen vehicles and individuals for suspicious activities.

Police officers were seen on foot patrols to engage with the community and address any concerns. To further enhance the festive spirit and community bonding, the Jammu Police Band presented a captivating performance. Later SP South, Ajay Sharma, on behalf of SSP Jammu, conveyed the Deepawali good wishes to the citizens of Jammu south.
Police remains committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all citizens, SP South said adding that the successful execution of the area domination drive and the vibrant police band performance exemplify the dedication of the force to community service.
