PoJK DPs had shown high resistance in 1947, shall continue to do so: MJR-47

JAMMU: Movement for Justice for Refugees of 1947 (MJR-47) from POJK, highly condemned the targeted killings of innocent POJK DPs and injuring other six of three families in village Upper Dhangri of Rajouri District.
“Such type of targeted killings of unarmed civilians is barbaric and an inhumane act of frustration by terrorists,” Suchwant Singh, Chief Spokesman, MJR47 Jammu said adding that the terrorists should understand that the POJK DPs had shown high resistance to their attack even in 1947 and saved the state and shall continue to do so if need be even today as true patriots.
Thousands of DPs families of 1947 living in these more than 100 Bastis/camps all along IB/LOC from Poonch to Kathua have suffered cross border firing and terrorism attacks since, he said adding that all these habitations are all so vulnerable to cross border firing and are easy targets by terrorists unless provided proper security for which all DP’s organizations have been constantly making demand.
“This is the reason that DPs have always been requesting for proper rehabilitation and settlement but with no results,” he said.
MJR-47 strongly demanded that the Govt should take immediate steps to properly compensate the families who have lost their earning hands and also to those injured so that they may not further suffer for their livelihood on the same basis as in the Valley by giving Govt jobs to one member of each family who have become victims in this inhuman action.
