JAMMU: Punjab National Bank (PNB) will launch the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) in Jammu simultaneously with the inauguration of these schemes by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kolkatta on 9th May.
This was stated by B.M Fazili, Deputy General Manager, Punjab National Bank, J and K Circle while briefing a press conference regarding the launching of ambitious social security schemes pertaining to the insurance and pension sector at pan-India level.
Fazili added that Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister in Prime Minister`s Office will launch these schemes in Jammu along with Bali Bagat, Minister for Social Welfare, Pawan Gupta, MoS Finance and IT, Dr. Pawan Kotwal (IAS), Divisional Commissioner Jammu and D Sethy, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Jammu.
Fazili informed that Dr. Ram S. Sangapure, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank who will arrive in Jammu tomorrow will host the launching function here.
Fazili was accompanied by K.L Kukreja, Chief Manager, FGM Office Shimla, B.M Panwer and Rajendra Singh Chief Managers Circle Office Jammu.
