SRINAGAR: BJP National General Secretary and Incharge Jammu & Kashmir and Laddakh, Tarun Chugh on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to the Union Territory on March 7 would herald a new chapter for development and progress in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said after the abrogation of Article 370 it is first visit of the Prime Minister to Sringar and it will turn a new leaf in the chapter of ushering a new era in J&K.
Chugh took stock of the preparations made to welcome the Prime Minister in the Valley and said that the entire Union Territory is enthused in anticipation of his visit.
Chugh listed various welfare schemes introduced in Jammu and Kashmir by the Prime Minister that have benefitted people of all segments of the society.
