SRINAGAR: Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment, Dr. Haseeb A Drabu said that the Special Package announced by Prime Minister on May 7, 2015 is meant for overall development of the State and as such is not be confined to any region in particular. Replying to a question by Deldan Namgail in the Legislative Assembly, the minister said that only Zojila and Lachulunga tunnels of Ladakh region are included in the package. He informed that there is no such proposal for setting up of Medical and Engineering Colleges in Leh district under the Prime Minister’s package.
