Ever since the BJP formed a coalition government with the PDP, things have gone from bad to worse in J and K. The PDP, which was being projected of becoming a nationalist party, is in the hands of separatists. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh should advise Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed to keep separatists like Geelani, Masrat Alam, etc at an arm’s length and do his best to heal the wounds of Kashmiris. It is true that separatists are not our enemies and every possible step must be taken to bring them to the mainstream, but separatists, who raise slogans against India, unfurl Pakistan’s flag in our territory, are certainly our enemies and must be dealt with sternly.
