JAMMU: Prime Minister Narendra, Modi has once again displayed courage of taking bold decision aimed at fighting corruption, black money, terrorism and counterfeit currency by scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes in the country. This is a historic step and common people across the country are appreciating the same.
This was stated by BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma CA, while addressing media persons here on Wednesday. He said that the PM really deserve appreciation and the State unit of the party congratulate the Prime Minister for his firm resolve to root out black money and that only a decisive PM could have taken such a decision.
“After the decision of conducting surgical strikes on launching pads of terrorists across LoC, Narendra Modi has once again proved that he is willing to go to any extent for the sake of national interest”, said Sat Sharma and added that nothing can hold him back when it comes to taking crucial decisions affecting the pride of the nation and the interests of the common citizens.
With the scrapping of the existing Rs 500 & Rs1000 notes, the most beneficiary will be a middle class and neo middle class of the Indian society who is an honest tax payer and contributes towards nation building and those who have been indulging in black money hoarding, will now be identified and exposed. The step will obviously open new opportunities for poor, neo middle class and middle class.
BJP State Vice-President Parmod Kapahi, State Treasurer Chander Mohan Gupta, State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, Additional Treasurer Arvind Gupta and Library Department Incharge K.B. Mohtra were also present in the press conference.
