POONCH:- A meeting of plus two(+2) Lecturers was held in Poonch on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Vijay Puri Principal to discuss problems of lecturer community and recent elections of plus two cadre.
Speaking on the occasion Amjad Ali Babar who lost the election thanked all the lecturers/principals who cast their valuable votes in his favour and assured that he will continue to work wholeheartedly for the betterment of plus two cadre as a true soldier of the community.
He also appreciated the democratic approach of plus two cadre which is the unique organisation which elects their representatives after every three years under a democratic process.
While congratulating the newly elected central body he hoped that the new body will highlight the burning issues of plus two cadre for immediate redressal with higher authorities which include regularisation of left out lecturers and Principals/CEOs/Joint Directors, benefits of running grades, promotion of principals, declaring the posts of principals as
non-vocational, a transparent transfer policy and restoration of plus two lecturers quota in PSC selection for the posts of college lecturers.
Others who attended the meeting include Anju Rishi Sr. Lecturer, Mohd Hafeez Sr. Lecturer, Romesh Sharma Sr. Lecturer, Ghulam Rasool, Mandhir Singh, Bashir Malik, Arvind Khajuria, Aejaz Shah, Abu Bakar, Pritam Singh, Yogesh Sharma, Manmohan Singh and Tafail Ahmed Lecturers. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks presented by Harmeet Singh Sr. Lecturer.
