BILLAWAR: Under Project UDAAN by Government of India, IL and FS Skills Development Corporation Limited (IL and FS Skills) a part of infrastructure leasing and financial services limited group, in partnership with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) organised a recruitment drive under the project UDAAN in Government Degree College Billawar on Monday.
UDAAN team was on a mobilisation drive from Challan to Mahanpur from last one week to aware the candidates about various job opportunities under project UDAAN.
UDAAN Team in collaboration with the college placement team conducted one day seminar in the college on Friday and briefed the college students about various career opportunities in the private sector in the present scenario of un-employment. A written test along with group discussion and interview was conducted for the selection of candidates.
A total of 45 candidates participated in the said drive out of which 21 were shortlisted for the training. Dr. Netar Singh congratulated the selected candidates and thanked UDAAN team for their visit in GDC Billawar for providing employment opportunity to unemployed youth of Tehsil Billawar under UDAAN project. The whole programme was organised by Convener, College Placement Cell Prof. Joginder Kumar, along with other team members including Ajit Radotra and Ashok Kumar.
