PIFA International Football Camp held at Jodhamal

JAMMU: Premier India Football Academy (PIFA) Football camp concluded at Jodhamal Public school, here with great fanfare.
Manchester coach, Mason had flown specially for the Camp at Jodhamal under the aegis of PIFA Mumbai.
Anjali Shah, Director of PIFA has been getting the renowned coaches from UK which is known for a good football for the last fourteen years to different elite schools of the Country and Jodhamal has joined the Elite Club of the Schools with PIFA international Football Camps.
Mason taught passing, dribbling, kicking and cutting skills to the students to play good and competitive soccer, while Nirvan Shah a UAFA Coach and the owner of the I League 2 Team was the second coach who also worked on the mind and foot movement coordination of the students by making them play different games based on the reflex actions.
Prerak Bist, a Manchester trained goalkeeper was the third coach to assist Mason and Nirvan in the coaching.
All boys did very well in the skill tests on shooting, dribbling, passing and control in which Vidit Choudhary was adjudged the most well behaved player whereas the best player among seniors was given to Sheikh Umar and the best in Junior category was won by Arman Malik.
For seniors, the second position was bagged by Krishant Basotra and Danish Gupta and for juniors, Prakhar Bist and Samarth Mahajan were adjudged second.
Besides boys, 56 girls also participated in the grass-root Level Football Training during this camp.
Principal Trilok Singh Bist felicitated the Manchester Coach Mason Minister, Prerak Bist and PIFA Coach Nirvan Shah with mementos and thanked Anjali Shah for all the efforts put in by her in organising this camp at Jodhamal Public School. Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee of Jodhamal Public School, said that Jodhamal is always ready to do anything which brings out the overall personality of the students.
At the end Mason said that he has coached all over the world by now but the kind of students he found at Jodhamal were the best with values and respect for their coach. Nirvan and Prerak also shared their coaching experiences and were also of the opinion that Jammu kids have a lot of potential for future football.
